Meet Anthony Intile, Founder and Master Plumber
Anthony J. Intile Jr. has been a licensed plumbing contractor in New Jersey since 1986, holding Master Plumber License #36BI00847300. After years of working in the plumbing trade, Tony recognized that homeowners struggling with water heater emergencies had very few options for fast, honest, specialized service. Most general plumbers treated water heaters as an afterthought. Tony saw an opportunity to do it better.
In 1991, he founded Doctor Water Heater to fill that gap, building a company entirely around water heater expertise. Since day one, Tony has personally overseen every aspect of the business, from evaluating new equipment and training technicians to meeting with homeowners and inspecting completed installations. His hands-on approach and decades of field experience are the reason our customers trust us with their homes.
In 1989, Doctor Water Heater became an authorized Bradford White installer, a partnership that has continued for over 35 years. Bradford White is one of the most respected water heater manufacturers in the country, and our long-standing authorization reflects the quality and consistency of our work.
